CalmEagle……..What is Semitism?
And I love the pic……….I agree ………we are all related. However I said this to a Native American just about a week ago………and she was not happy with the comment at all. She did a 360 “I don't think so” on me. Why is it so offensive for some to think that we are all brothers & sisters?

I don'y believe we were talking about “semitism” at all…don't understand why you inserted that…any Native American who disagrees with Mitakuye Oyasin has some issues with his/her own philosphical heritage, IMHO…and finally, there are ten thousand answers to why do people find it hard to see other humans as their brother and sister. The one which makes the most sense to me is the doctrine of original sin, but NOT in the pop culture or even mass Christian culture notion of original sin. To me the concept denotes a conscious and deliberate break on the part of one or more of our ancestors (“Adam, Eve”)with the One Mind, G-d, The Creator.
More comment would require a serious theological discussion, and for all its virtues, zaadz i snot a serious theological place.

O sorry…….. Calm Eagle I was simultaneously reading news articles at the time of that post and was once again bombarded with that word “semitism” and just wondered what it meant. I mean I have a glimpse perhaps…but really have never known what it means.
And I wandered out of the Zabbie group into your personal blog space and was just asking the question ………….out of text. My bad. ;-)
